We provide local carvers, seamstresses, cottage workers and the arts community a venue to market their artistry.

Opened in 1992 as a retail and production facility for traditional and Nunavut themed arts and crafts in Rankin Inlet, Ivalu carries a wide variety of products from across Nunavut.  Although no longer involved in production, Ivalu continues as a thriving retail outlet and as purchaser and distributor of a wide variety of arts and crafts from artisans across the territory.

Rankin Inlet, located on the western shore of Hudson Bay, is home to more than 2,500 people.  Known for its giant Inushuk, Rankin Inlet is also home to Jordin Tootoo of the Nashville Predators, the first Inuk to play in the NHL.

Our little store in Rankin Inlet offers visitors an impressive selection of Nunavut themed items, we are sure you will be pleased with the unique product line we carry.
